Battery Storage & EV Charging
Take greater control of your home's energy with solar battery storage and smart EV charging. Store excess electricity generated by your solar panels for use when you need it, helping you rely less on the grid and make more of the energy your home produces.
We design complete systems around your solar generation, household usage and EV requirements, giving you a smarter, more efficient home energy setup.

Battery Storage & EV Chargers installation
Battery storage allows you to store electricity and use it when you need it, rather than relying solely on electricity from the grid. When paired with solar panels, excess energy generated during the day can be stored in your battery and used later in the evening or when your home's electricity demand increases.
The Solar Company designs battery systems around your household's actual electricity usage, solar generation and future requirements. From smaller home batteries through to larger-capacity systems for higher-energy households, we'll recommend a setup designed to maximise the amount of your own energy you can use.
Why add battery storage & an EV charger?
A home battery can increase your energy independence and help you make better use of cheaper or self-generated electricity. Depending on your system and electricity tariff, batteries can also be charged from the grid during cheaper off-peak periods for use when electricity is more expensive.
For electric vehicle owners, a smart home EV charger can be incorporated into the same energy setup. This allows you to conveniently charge your vehicle at home and, where the equipment and available solar generation allow, make greater use of electricity generated by your solar panels.
Whether you're installing solar panels, battery storage and an EV charger together, or adding battery storage or EV charging to an existing system, we'll assess your property and energy requirements before recommending the right setup.

Step 2.
Home visit & survey
We’ll arrange to visit your home and complete a free drone inspection. We’ll then offer tailored recommendations for your project, offering as many options as possible.

Step 3.
Confirming your project
Once you’ve confirmed you’d like to proceed, we will offer you some dates and we’ll introduce you to your site manager. They will run through your project, answer any additional questions, organise any samples and finalise any material options with you.

Step 4.
Start date
With the green light from you, the materials will be delivered and a team will arrive on the agreed date. Your site manager will update you a week before your project starts and our team will arrive on time.

Step 5.
Finishing the job
Once complete, the site manager will ensure you’re happy with our work. When the invoice has been paid you’ll get a full receipt and guarantee.

Smarter home energy
Battery storage and EV charging work best when they're designed as part of your wider home energy system. We assess how much electricity your household uses, when you use it, your solar generation and your vehicle charging requirements to recommend the right setup.
A correctly sized battery can store surplus solar electricity during the day for use later, while smart tariffs may also allow you to charge your battery from the grid during cheaper periods. Add a smart EV charger and you can make better use of your own solar generation when charging your vehicle.
Whether you're installing a complete solar, battery and EV system or adding battery storage and EV charging to an existing solar installation, The Solar Company can design a solution around the way your household actually uses energy.
