How A Solar Heating System Works

	Step 1 The solar panel collectors harness available rays from the sun – whether bright, direct sunlight or diffused sunlight from behind cloud cover.

	Step 2 Copper coil within the solar panel containing a mixture of water and antifreeze, is heated by these rays. The copper coils are ‘the solar circuit’.

	Step 3 Once the water within the solar circuit is at least 6 degrees hotter than the hot water cylinder, heat is transferred to the cylinder.

	Step 4 The pump sends the hot water through the cylinder coil and heats your cylinder water
